Chloe participated in the Ward Talent Show back in March. She did a fantastic job even though her accompanist (me) made a few mistakes. We are so proud of you, Chloe!
I'm fortunate enough and blessed to be a stay at home mom to the two best daughters ever. I've also been blessed with the best husband in the world. I cherish my role as mom and wife and strive to do my best, but I realize I sometimes fall short. However, I can find glimpses and moments of perfection in the daily doings of our imperfect lives. These are the things I am truly grateful for and the things I will blog about(usually). Then, if for some reason my kids grow up to be miserable adults, I can just pull out my blog book and say, "See we were happy...here's the proof!". Plus, having a blog means I don't have to beat myself up anymore for not creating fabulous scrapbooks for my kids...right???
President Gordon B. Hinckley said,"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of these meaningful, significant things. Some of them may be funny. Some may be of significance only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience."
